This 51 year old woman was concerned with the appearance of abdominal bulging and laxity. She previously had laser liposuction performed at another facility and was left with significant amounts of fat as well as skin excess and irregularities. In addition, extensive scarring was present throughout her abdominal tissues. Dr. Brian S. Glatt performed an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with plication of rectus diastasis (tightening of the muscles) was performed; no liposuction was needed. She is pictured here 1 year after her surgery.
