Breast Implant Exchange Case #26638

This 62 year old woman had breast augmentation done by an outside surgeon and presented to board certified plastic surgeon Brian S. Glatt, MD, FACS for a breast implant exchange. Her original breast implants were placed in a subglandular space (over the muscle) and the patient wished to keep them there. Her old round silicone gel implants were removed and were replaced with anatomically shaped silicone gel implants, also known as “gummy bear implants” (420cc). She is pictured here one year after her procedure.
